Shirt arrived yesterday. The first hand-washing caused some color streaking when it dried but putting it through the washing machine took care of that. My biggest disappointment is that it came with a lot of wrinkles and even warm ironing hasn't gotten rid of them yet. I may try turning the heat up a bit, but I don't want to damage the fabric. I usually wear a medium, but I ordered large, and the fit is great. I really like the fabric and the color. It dries really quickly, and that's great for traveling which is my main reason for buying it.

This shirt was great for my thru-hike of the Colorado Trail. I like the ventilation and sun protection options provided by a button up shirt with long sleeves.I feel like the fabric is relatively thick, which has pros and cons. The fabric has some stretch, and I don’t know if that adds any functionality to a shirt of this style.

Unfortunately I had to return the shirt. Color was beautiful, it was very well made and the cuts and the material was lite weight. I purchased a Large and it seemed to run a bit smaller than expected. It seemed to be more of a slim fit than a looser fit which is what I would expect from an outdoor, hiking type shirt. I personally do not like tight fitting outdoors clothing but other than that I would have kept it.

Husband and son both wear these shirts. Great for Texas weather. Cool and comfortable. Fit well and wash and dry beautifully.

This is a fantastic shirt, fits well and is cool when you need it to be cool and warm when you need it to be warm. Very happy with my purchase and ordered four more in different colors.

Overall these are excellent shirts. The material resembles ripstop nylon and feels slightly cold to the touch, and somewhat heavier in weight (not thickness) than ripstop due to the 12% spandex. The amount of stretch from the spandex is surprising, and I joked about them initially as feeling like plastic shirts, however the fabric breathes well, fits well, and the tailoring/sewing is very precise. The fabric resists wrinkling more than any other shirt I’ve owned. I thought the fabric would feel hot in full sun, but was pleasantly surprised to find the shirt remained cool without a ventilated back or vents. It wears well inside or outside the pants. The chest pockets only open on one side of the flap, which I thought odd at first, but it seems to not be a problem and contributes to the pockets lying flat without edges curling up. The sunglasses hanging loop is a welcome detail. The sleeves roll up easily and have a button stay that keeps the rolled sleeves up. You can wash the shirt with shampoo in a hotel sink, roll most of the water out in a dry bath towel and hang it up, and it’s dry in the morning free of wrinkles. This is a good choice for a travel shirt. The price increased by almost 25% in less than a month, but I’m buying another anyway because it’s worth it, even with the price increase.

The material is a little thicker than I was expecting, but I would still say that they are light-weight. They breath very well. It is slightly thicker material than shirts I have purchased from Columbia, but not so thick that they would feel heavy sweating in them. They also try out relatively fast as they are synththetic. I love these for traveling because you can roll up the sleeves in warmer climates or wear them with a base layer in colder climates. Becuase the material is a little bit heavier weight, they hang well on just about any body type. If you have a dad-bod, you will look a little better in these than other synthetic shirts.
