The solenoid looked slightly different than the factory one that came on our Central Boiler. But this is supposedly the replacement for it. The factory solenoid lasted over 10 years then the it started to mechanically fall apart. That's why I ordered this one as a replacement expecting another 10 years of service. But not so. After just 1.5 years it started to get stuck open and thus the boiler water would overheat and my water heater pressure relief would open and release water. I'm not sure how it gets stuck open. There is no power to it, I pulled the wires off but the solenoid did not release. I also took a screw driver to see if for some reason it retained magnetism but no the screw driver does not stick anywhere to the solenoid. Pulling it down into open position required quite some force, it was really stuck. I pushed it back up and it just falls back down, I slammed it back up and it just falls back down. I put it back into service and it gets stuck again within a day or two. It keeps getting worse and over the last few days it got stuck many times and thus waisting my wood by continously burning and overheating the boiler. Unfortunately I order two of those and my spare is the same one, but I have no choice but to install that one right now and hope for the best. I certainly would choose a different product next time, even go back to the Central Boiler dealer and buy one there.

I have a Central Boiler 3200 Furnace, circa 2011, this part fits perfectly and Works!The elbow it fits on tends to work itself loose from the internal furnace pipe, and falls forward into the utility door.I recently connect a steel support bracket under the elbow, to hold it in place.It runs horizontal and connects at each side of the box. The elbow WILL NOT be dropping forward again!

simple solenoid switch replaced one that rusted due to frozen pipe bursting. Worked perfectly out of the box, simple fix

Seems as good as stock, was a relatively easy install, everything lined up and I was done in about 15 minutes, has been working fine for a week now.Note, if your Central Boiler, is suffering from random boil overs from the intake door not closing, this is likely the cause. My boiler was turning into a steam engine every couple of days, with the last event boiling off 5 inches of water in the middle of the night. If this is happening, this needs to be fixed as soon as possible.Central Boiler 6068
