Fits my head and seems pretty sturdy. My head doesn't get out because it is so open. I really like the color and how it looks overall. Really light weight and it's pretty comfortable. The money I think is fair at this time. Tho I haven't tested the durability in its entirety.

I purchased the orange medium-sized bicycle helmet and am impressed with its quality and design, which compares favorably to major brand helmets. The internal padding, straps, and outer shell feel durable and well-made. The helmet includes a second set of padding to accommodate various head shapes and sizes, enhancing its versatility. Compared to my Giro MIPS helmet, the weight and fit are similar, even with the addition of MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which provides extra protection against rotational forces during a crash. For safety-conscious riders, MIPS is a standout feature. According to the Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings site, the “Outdoor Master Gem model earned a 5-star rating with a STAR value of 11.03, ranking #53 out of 253 helmets tested.” While I can’t confirm this is the exact model, it looks very similar. The brand would benefit from clearer labeling to highlight MIPS as a key feature.I opted for the orange color due to its high road visibility. The rear knob fit adjustment is intuitive and ensures a secure fit. Overall, this helmet is an excellent choice for riders prioritizing safety and quality, especially at its price point! Highly recommended.

Review of OutdoorMaster MIPS Bike Helmet for Adults-Two Removable Liners & Ventilation in Multi-Environment - Road Bicycle HelmetsAs someone who almost died from a head concussion and was stuck in a "brain reboot" for an hour after somehow falling off my bike I'm super conscious about always wearing a helmet. May not look "cool", but my safety is #1.I measured my head using the instructions as 58cm and decided to go with the L size and I'm glad I did. It is a bit wide but fits well front to back. I think M would have been too small. The adjustment knob on the back was able to take in some of the slack on the sides.Build quality looks good and they finished off nicely with no sharp edges, and good printing and molding. The blue coloring is almost exactly as shown on the product photos. The strap padding is good and better than having a raw nylon strap rubbing against you... as long as the padding lasts. It does include an extra lining which appears to be thicker. My only wish is that someone could fix the issue with all helmets I've tried of the wind noise around the straps against your ears!

I am an occasional bicyclist and don't spend a lot of time weekly on my bike. But like with snow skiing, I will never undertake this activity without head protection and wearing of a helmet. Too many examples of people suffering needless injuries which is why I also ensure my 3 kids take the same steps with their activities and helmets. With this OutdoorMaster MIPS helmet, I had to read up on MIPS technology and glad I did. Whatever technology can help improve crash impacts is welcomed. What I was concerned about is the fitment on my large noggin. I usually were XL hats and a 7 3/4"-8" size. I read the listing and how to measure for proper fitment for the large size. The large fit well once I opened up the back adjustment and my measurement of around 24" was fine. Another perk is that they provide a 2nd set of interior cushions for when you wear out the padding strips. But in reality, I'm more concerned about the structure of the helmet and in that regard, it seems ideal.

The Bike Helmet by the Outdoor Master (OM) Store came today, so this is a first day Review. It's Winter here. So I can't yet judge how well it does in the heat. As a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) survivor, I know the importance of wearing a helmet, as I failed to do so - but never again. I now put on a bike helmet when I'm riding my bicycle, scooter, or getting on a ladder (my accident 2 years ago). And to save my face, I wear a speed appropriate helmet- a higher protection, FULL FACE (motorcycle) helmet on a motorcycle, or when I go faster than about 20mph. Your brain is the most important organ in your body - it's necessary for life, and if yours is defective, you can't get a transplant. It makes you - you, and a TBI can change anything about you - your sight and balance quality, (like it did me), to your self awareness, ability to see, think, feel. So, wearing a helmet when appropriate is a wise choice, even if it's inconvenient, hot, or a fashion fail.Size Issue & Ad error: Before ordering, look at the Outdoor Master's ad, 6th pic, for a Sizing Guide. I used the string method they give, and my size was ~58cm, which falls right in-between the Medium max, and the Large min. I got a Medium and it's a tight fit. I wish I had gotten a Large, as they can be adjusted a bit smaller, especially during the Winter with a thin hat, but the Medium can only go so big. When you first put on a helmet, you need to get it sized for your head too, w/ the rear 360° adjusting knob and adjustable side straps - that MUST BE USED so it stays on your head properly and provides protection. A helmet doesn't work if it's in a box, falls off your head, or slide to an angle. I measured my head multiple times and looked (in the mirror) at the Outdoor Master (OM) helmet, as well as a Large from a different company - which is not only bigger around the head, but noticably deeper too! The OM helmet fits more on the top of my head, as it does on their current 6th ad pic. My helmet from a different co. sits down further on my head - with the helmet not covering my ears, but following its outline, so I may prefer it. The OM helmet came w/ an extra liner which (contrary to their 3rd pic ad) is the thicker .39 in - while the original liner is the THINNER, .24 in - I put a "O" on my original lining BEFORE taking it off, and measuring it and the extra with a digital caliper. Then, I put the THICKER extra liner in, which made the tight fitting Medium more comfortable. It will take me several bike rides to determine whether my large or medium helmet fits better. (Whether the medium is too tight, or the large too big.)
