So far this has held up our porch swing nicely. I am afraid of allowing heavy people on the swing, because the center is only held together with two bolts. It tends to sag a little in the middle.

I was so looking forward to this frame for our swing. I even did not order a wooden set because I thought the metal one would be stronger. We set it up and the very middle droops. It does not look very strong there.

Someone gifted me a used swing- the swing was still good but the frame was getting sketchy. I ordered this frame and it is nice and sturdy and easy to put together. The dog ripped p the directions, but I was able to figure it out by zooming in on the amazon photo. Good value for the money.

Before I packaging we could see that the paint coating had been scratched/damaged in shipping but decided to proceed as it doesn’t affect the function. Then a screw was missing, as seen in package marked 3 there is 2 of everything except the screw. Then another screw is defective with the hole being filled making it impossible to tighten the screw (image with proper one to show difference). Hoping a trip to the hardware store can remedy the screw problems and still make it functional, but buyer beware it may require a trip to the hardware store and be scratched up.

The items are clearly labeled with numbers and letters, but there were no instructions included to tell you what piece goes where. I am fortunate enough to have a brilliant contractor for a husband who assembled it before the birthday of the recipient. The company did reach out to me with a pdf of the directions a few days later and they are very clear. The pieces fit together nicely and it seems like a quality product for the price. It sits a bit low, which makes it is easier to move if you need to mow around it.
