I bought these again. They are easy to sharpen and the kids at school like the color change. The color changes with heat, so warm hands make them change really well. The erasers are the color that the pencil will be when warm, so it is easy for children to pick what color they want.

Although the color change was a bit slow it had a vibrant color. Looked great when it did get going. All the kids really liked them.

They don't change color unless ya cook 'em. They're still pencils though.
