Installed this for a customer, followed all instructions and in less than a year customer complained that backup camera quit working and stereo was locked out. Finally got a chance to look into problem and found this unit was stuck in the energize mode for the backup camera. Way out of warranty by now but problem actually occurred at about the 6-8 month mark.If you by this don't use the back up camera control feature, its not reliable.

2008 explorer, Pioneer AVH-3400NEX, aftermarket sub w/amp... (No factory sub, navigation, nor swc) The PAC C2R-FRD1 Radio Replacement Interface with this vehicle and head unit were right on. It made installation simple and flawless. I have retained the RAP functionality, and my center dash display shows DVD while my radio is on. Parking brake, dash illumination, and all the wiring features necessary for an ideal installation.
Great quality shipping was fast, would recommend

This is a must have radio harness, was really simple to connect my aftermarket radio to, and step by step directions. Would recommend for anyone considering installing an aftermarket radio in there car or suv.

Had issues keeping stock subs and amp in mustang, tried a lot of different approaches with no luck. Ordered this hooked everything together and all stock systems work flawlessly. Super simple to install as well!

It was very easy to wire up, color coded and easy to follow instructions, soldered and heat shrinked everything at my kitchen table made it simple. Plugged the harness in and everything worked. It made hooking up the factory amp and retaining factory settings a breeze

Used to replace the base model radio/CD in 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL. The replacement head unit was a Sony XAVAX3000. I replaced all 4 speakers, added a powered sub woofer, and a backup camera at the same time. With this interface kit, everything worked perfectly, first try. It seems a bit expensive, but it makes the job work like a factory install.

Installed on a 2011 Escape base model, install went well, the electronics in the box seem to read the CANBUS, which gives the park and reverse line outputs. 2nd part of the instructions says that you can only connect the SWC output wire to an optional PAC swi-xxx device for steering wheel controls, that was not accurate on my install, on the Escape and probably other Fords, simply connect that white/Green SWC wire to one of the Android radio key+ or Key1 wires, usually there is a second wire, maybe labeled key - or Key2 - either way ground the other one.

Works very well with my 2010 Mazda Tribute, install was easy, simply match the color of the wires with an aftermarket stereo, The only thing is that I think this is over priced, I only need to pay $6 for a Harness for my Toyota Yaris, but this cost over $100.

Used on a 2009 F150 with Sync and Sony Sound System, installed new Pioneer head unit. This harness drops Sync but retains the Sony amp and subwoofer. Install was good. Sub now makes popping sound at start up though, may have to add a 5 volt regulator to remote lead

Bought to hook up an AVIC-X950BH in a 2008 Mustang with the Shaker 500 system. Unit received was the latest revision which already had a diode soldered in to prevent the issue with feedback from the factory amp to the aftermarket deck. It was pretty easy to connect and solder all the leads together with the harness for the new deck. The only issue is with the illumination circuit. Head unit keeps dimming and then going back into daytime mode over and over every few seconds when the headlights or parking lights are on. Will be contacting PAC after the holiday weekend is over for some technical support on this. I suspect the box that comes with the harness to translate the CANBUS stuff is wonky and will need a replacement. Will update the review accordingly.

Worked great to wire up a new Pioneer GPS into our 2006 Ford Explorer. It allowed us to wire everything while sitting in the kitchen at the table. Lot's easier than hanging my head under a dash. We connected all the wires from this unit to the wiring harness supplied with the new head unit. I then brought the parts out to the truck and plugged everything in.This unit allows control of the factory subwoofer, connects the emergency brake wire to the GPS (Needed for all aftermarket GPS head units), and even signals when the headlights are so the head unti dims and changes the GPS display to nighttime mode. This unit is a must if you are going to install a new radio into a late model Ford car or truck. Yup, it costs nearly $100, but the time you save in wiring is priceless. I was able to install the new radio in less than 90 minutes......and I am not a professional installer.
