UPDATE: I did some research to see how to tell if shungite is real. Basically if it conducts electricity, it is real. I grabbed my voltmeter, battery, and a wire and the rock I received DOES conduct electricity. I also checked another piece of shungite I have and it too conducts electricity.So, I don't believe it is fake. But it does seem to be dyed- so wash the nasty off.I wash all of my stones when I first get them to remove any extra debris/chemical. When I just ran a tiny amount of water on this stone and wiped it with a napkin, A LOT of black residue came off onto the napkin. I was a bit shocked as I have never had an issue with Pachamama crystals. I did go and scrub whatever the black stuff was off of my shungite (if that is what it actually is). It now is dull and not shiny at all . It looks like slate to be honest and absorbs water droplets.I don't know if I was scammed and received a fake or not. I am not happy that there was a dye-like covering on it. I'm glad I didn't just go and wear it against my skin because who knows what that stuff was and what it could do to the body.

Was Not like the photo in picture was not satisfied with what i got. The rocks was broken and had dirt all in the bottom of the bag. would not buy again.
