Super simple. Super easy to install. Extremely comfortable. NOT for small hands. It adds quite a bit of girth to the stock.

Went on with no problem, fits like a glove. Can't really say anything negative about it as it does its job.

Pachmayr Gripper Universal Pistol Slip-On Grips have been around since I first started my law enforcement carrier in the early 70's. There a good inexpensive solution to adding comfort and stability to your pistol grip but not real easy to install and not of the highest quality. I returned these and purchased a similar item in the Hogue brand. I have decided that Hogue is the way to go and they have excellent customer service.

I purchased this Pachmayr slip-on grip because I found the factory grips on my S&W Model 457 pistol to provide too little effective grip angle for pointing, and a bit too thin a profile for a comfortable grip. I have fairly large hands and the factory grip did not feel secure, being a bit too thin and having very little surface texture. The slip-on grip makes the grip fuller and you can in effect adjust the grip angle by moving the slip-on higher or lower on the frame. The finger grooves also add to the security of the grip. It may be difficult to install, being in effect a giant rubber band, but a few minutes with a hair dryer or heat gun playing over the grip will make it noticeably softer and easier to manipulate, if you need some assistance. While you can spend a great deal of money on custom grips for the more popular pistols and revolvers, the choices for lesser-produced handguns are slim to none. This slip on grip by Pachmayr provides a useful option for modifying a handgun grip at relatively low cost.

Tight fit to put on but it was a perfect fit for an old Walther P38, no trimming needed. Would buy again.

Bought 2 of these. Fit the Taurus G3 fine. Had to trim it for G2c. Do NOT buy it for the G2c. It does work, but what a hack job. Had to trim all the way to the bottom of the rectangle. Pachmayr branding is gone and part of the rubber below the last knuckle grip. On a good note IT FEELS GREAT! Way better than the sandpaper composite. Tight Fit. Should work fine, good hold, not slick, not sticky.

I have a p229 m11-a1 with factory plastic grips. My groups were not tight especially in single action (I know right?). Wearing gloves i got better, so that pointed to some sort of grip issue. The grip on the legion feels much better but on my m11 they felt a little small for my hands and hard plastic. I got this grip add-on and with a little work got it mounted. No trimming necessary on my p229. Got back from the range and i saw significant improvement. Feels great, shoots great. This grip adds bulk on all sides of the factory grip. I don’t think I have excessively large hands, but don’t buy this unless you want a larger grip. For those of us that do, its plush, grippy, absorbs recoil. 5 stars especially consider the quality for the cost. And the fact you don’t have to disassemble you P229 to put them on. At least right now there is zero movement, it stays in place.Only two issues. It slightly changed my interaction with the decocking lever. Its a little harder for me to get to, but I end up with better overall control and retention. And the grip does leave a rubbery smell on my hands which I hope will wear off.
