It worked too well. There was so much ink in the pad the image smudged. Could never get a clear image. Tried using paper towels to suck up the ink, but it never worked. Ended up discarding the ink pad.

No directions? That's OK, most Trodat stamper models are similar...push the button, and out pops the ink pad. It may not pop out as easily as you might think, push the button hard. Remove the protective cover from the new pad. It may look slightly different than the original. Insert with ink side toward the bottom of the stamp and push it in, making sure it snaps into place. That's it!
