Indoor and Outdoor Applications
Paracord Planet's Toaster Ellipse Cord Lock is a cord lock that is designed for tethered and outdoor applications. These locks have a one-way slide stop that can hold cord with a 0.25-Inch (6 mm) diameter or smaller. While 1/8" shock cord, 550 cord, and 750 cord fit best, you can use our locks with any cordage with a 6 mm diameter or smaller.

How to Activate

Please Note
To activate these cord locks PUSH DOWN HARD ON TOP OF THE LOCK TO MAKE THE SPRING POP - you will hear a clicking noise when locks are activated. Once activated, our ellipse cord lock is easy to use, simply squeeze together between the base and outer core button. Then, slide the cord lock up and down to position where needed. When the button is released, tension is engaged, and the cord lock will stay in place. Just pinch, slide, and release.

The image shown implies you could fit a quarter inch cord through. I don’t believe it would even hold a 3/16 cord. Returning.
