The OE backup lights on my RV were very poor. I added these to the rear bumper which was a very easy install with rubber inserts.Backing up now well illuminated for camera.

They're too large for the intended hole size. I had to use a heat gun to get the ring in the hole, and then the light doesn't snap into the ring.
They don't work

Used a 2.75in hole saw to mount these in the rear of my 02 Z71 roof rack. Wired to the reverse lights. Perfect fit look almost factory.

Using as reverse lights on a trailer. Note that most trailers dont have a dedicated reverse wire and you will probably have to run wire separately as I had to do. Installation pretty straightforward. I used a 2-3/4in hole saw to drill the mounting hole. After that hook up your wires, press the grommet in, plug the light in (lights are polar sensitive so you may have to flip the way you plug it in) then press in light. Personally my fit was a bit looser than I like so I will add some silicone to ensure it wont fall out. Lights are bright enough to be noticed during the day. If you are worried about hole size I suggest making test fit holes in stiff cardboard before you drill final mounting hole
