Dual purpose, ...step-up ring and/or a wide-angle hood that also accepts 62mm filters. Additionally, the ring/hood comes with a front cap. It's just one of two units that I'm using for my Nikon CX 10-30 and 30-100mm lenses.

This lens hood screws directly onto the front of your camera and does a good job of limiting stray light access the lens in bright sunlight. Considering the cost it screws on easily without any concerns of cross threading. It comes with its own hood cover to protect your lenses when not in use. Highly recommended.

I have a 62mm for my XCD already but this one looks much smarter when I fit it in my xcd and 907x. It gives me a new feeling of using my Hasselblad!

I was searching for a wide angle lens hood for my Micro Four Thirds Lens and ran across this lens hood. Some may say what the big de its only a lens hood but it does serve more than ine purpose. First off it gave just the right amount of glare reduction rrom the sun but even more important it provide protection of the lens from bumps, scratches and maybe even if the lens were to drop. The price is very good and it came just as described. My only con is that I wish it had been packaged in more than clear labeled plastic bags. But all that said it worked perfectly and looks great on my camera.
