This solar powered shed light is exactly what my storage shed needed, especially because I have no power out there. It was easy to set up and as long as you position the panel in the sun’s path, it’ll work. My only issue is it’s not as bright as I had hoped. I have some other solar lights that are super bright, so I was a tad disappointed.

I recently installed the Pearlstar Solar Shed Light in my backyard, and I am really impressed with its performance. This light offers 3 brightness modes, allowing me to adjust the light intensity depending on the need, whether I'm working in the shed or just relaxing outside. It also has 3 timing modes, which is super convenient – I can set it to stay on for a specific time, so I don’t have to worry about turning it off manually. The solar panel charges efficiently during the day, providing plenty of light at night. It’s also waterproof, which makes it perfect for all kinds of weather conditions, whether it’s raining or snowing. I love using it in my gazebo and garage – it provides just the right amount of light without being too harsh. The light is easy to hang, and the installation was a breeze. Overall, a great addition to my outdoor space!

I was going to use this for my shed, but there is no sensor, it's on or off. You can set a timer, which is nice, but I don't really want a light on in my shed all the time when I'm not in there. Right now, I have battery powered sensor lights that only come on when I open the door and it's dark. The light itself charges and works well. I like the extra long cord you get to properly mount the solar panel wherever you need, but for my purposes, without a sensor, it just won't work.If you want something that's on all the time (or for lengths of time you set), this is a nice product and will serve you well.

This solar shed light is a handy solution for unpowered locations, and the split design is a game-changer! The 9.8-foot cord makes it easy to position the solar panel outside for charging while keeping the light inside where it’s needed. The installation was straightforward, and after a sunny day, the light provided solid illumination for about 8 hours, which was impressive. The IP44 waterproof rating adds durability, making it reliable even during heavy rain or snow. The included remote control is another great touch—adjusting brightness levels and setting timers is super convenient. However, while it’s suitable for a wide range of locations, the light could be a tad brighter for larger spaces like barns or workshops. Also, the 6-8 hours required for a full charge might not be ideal on cloudy days.Overall, it’s a versatile and functional product that’s perfect for sheds, porches, and chicken coops. A little more power would make this a 5-star winner!

VERDICTBuy if you accept caveatsWHYOverall this solar lamp is not bad. The batteries are contained in the solar panel and you have an okay albeit tiny lamp with diffuser. This model is cool white - I personally prefer warm white but cool white provides more brightness (lumens) while consuming less energy than warm white. So why this rating? First, they use polycrystalline solar cells which are about 15% less efficient than monocrystalline solar cells. Second, there is no way to turn on the lamp when the solar cell is exposed to light. For example, you cannot turn on the lamp in a shack during the day when it's sunny out - you need to wait until night fall - or cover the solar panel. Finally, the illustrations are ridiculous - no one is going to set up 3 of these in bedroom. Hilarious. It's not bad for the price - it's probably good for a shed, dog house - or for emergency lighting in a cabin or during a power outage.
