Pegboard usually comes in hardboard or metal. Both are sturdy, but the metal boards are significantly thinner.
As a result, pegboard attachments designed for classic hardboard slant downwards when used on metal board.
That's why we've added a spacer and 5 screws.
Spacer
Optionally: the spacer can be mounted in between the pegs and metal boards, so there's no 'gap'. This makes sure that your towel holder hangs straight at all times.
Screws
Optionally: the lower pegs are wired, and 5 screws are provided with the towel holder. For a more permanent fix, you can attach these screws to the back of your towel holder.

We found it important that you wouldn't have to reload a paper towel roll from the side of the holder. If that was the case, you would've had to take tools off of your pegboard whenever you needed to replace the roll.
That's why we opted for a pivotal reload system that makes it easy to reload the paper roll from the front. Just retract the pin, pivot the rod towards you and replace the roll. Zero hassle.

Fits almost every paper towel roll
The paper towel compartment has enough room for any paper towel roll with dimensions under 6.25'' x 13''.
Standard paper towel is usually 6'' x 11''. The roll shown in this image has a diameter of 5.5'' and height of 11''.
The rod that holds the paper towel is 'fixed'. This means that it won't spin endlessly when ripping off a sheet of paper.

Well designed and good quality. The only downside is that in order to install the nuts on the threaded studs you need access to the back of the pegboard.I installed in a metal cabinet that doesn't have access.

No doubt it's made in China. That said at the price point, it does the job. When you need a paper towel its usually one of those moments and you just tear one off. Not a problem for this setup. It stays on the peg board and the stuff on the shelf is still on the shelf. It takes up a little more real estate on the board, but you also get a shelf out of the deal. Good design, well done.

This shelf and towel holder is a weird mix of over and under engineering.Over: it’s a solid metal swing arm shelf and towel holder that can bolt to your peg board. I just left it hanging from the hooks with the bolts resting in the holes. Seems ok.Under: the swing arm where the towels go is locked in place with a pin. Nothing fancy or complicated except the holes DO NOT line up. I had to redrill to get the pin to fit, which it does now. While I do recommend this product, the lack of detail was disappointing

Got this item today, the bar that holds the paper towel is bubbling/peeling away in two spots and also starting to peel back from other edges. In the box there’s a card that asked ti contact them via message on Amazon but I was unable to find out how to do so. Hopefully they see this review and can reach out to help with a replacement. It’s otherwise really nice and would look great on the wall.

Love the design, the shelf and the look and would have given it 5 stars BUT the hooks and posts/screws don't align perfectly with standard peg board. I simply used a drill to make all of the corresponding holes just a bit bigger to allow for some wiggle room. Was building my work bench and didn't want to return it, wait and gamble on the replacement being perfect. I do still recommend it - be ready to drill.

The towel rack is very sturdy. The metal pins were not spaced correctly requiring some bending/tweaking to get them to fit the correct spacing. Could use a bit of quality control on that aspect. Might also suggest figuring out a way, such as anti-skid tape, to allow the towel roll to not spin out of control but that is a bit of user error on that one.

Well made fit great, very sturdy. I a specially like the small bolts at bottom of holder. Made it very sturdy. A little expensive, but a quality item.

Pegboard towel holder came in and was very easy to install. It is a thicker gauge metal and not the thin, flimsy stuff you see from other manufacturers/vendors. The way the towel bar swivels out makes it very easy to install a new roll of towels. At first I was questioning how much this cost, but now that it’s here I can see it is worth every penny.

Very heavy duty and sturdy construction. It has a round spindle, so the towel roll moves easily. Though it is advertised for peg boards it fit my standard slat wall snugly. I evaluated holders costing twice as much and, in my opinion, this exceeded them in almost every aspect. Highly recommended!

Lives upto all the description from the company.Only downfall is if you use the nuts to secure topegboard you have to remove the pegboard from the wall.So make sure you know where you want it to go .

See pictures! We bought this paper towel holder from Madd Tools and some shelf’s from another manufacturer that we returned (GarageMate VersaShelf). The Madd Tools towel holder is metal and well thought out in its design. It comes with metal hooks on the top rear (and a hook space filler for metal pegboards like ours). The holder is held firmly in place by metal screws and nuts on the rear (an extra nut was given that I placed on top as you can see in the picture). A discreet shelf is included on the top of the unit as well as enough room for a spray bottle that can go in front or on the side.I would definitely buy again!
