My cell phone has LTE reception (max bars), but this device does not. Tried the included antennas and one of those bingfu's to no avail. It's just an expensive, annoying brick for me. Hasn't worked anywhere in the 2 years I've owned it.

We used this to provide the ability to aggregate 3 carriers to support our budget retreat with Wi-Fi access for all the users. It worked great it gave us an extra carrier for upping our total bandwidth to support our budget retreat. The ability also gives you more resiliency with another carrier add to the two we had on the Pepwave Max BR2 Pro.

Can't connect to the internet via the USB connection on our MAX BR1 ENT and see no way to get past the company firewall without a IP passthrough/forwarding option (does not exist through USB connection). Support/forum.. no help.Was hoping the 5G add-on modem would allow us to have 5G failover avoiding the added investment of a 5G router.Works OK connected via PC and Peplink Connection Manager on Win10. No Win7 support.

Delivers as promised. In our installation this modem connects to a Peplink Balance Two via USB C and then routed out. The cell data link is 5G 5n with excellent quality and speed to a cell tower three miles away using a roof mounted antenna. Peplink products are professional grade requiring pro knowledge. The cell data configuration was frustrating as no cell data configuration instructions are provided so I muddled through using trial and error. Their Peplink Communications software would not install on a Win 7 nor on a Win Surface. No software version for MacBook. Did install and run successfully on Win 10.
