With its deep glossy green foliage, small white flower during spring and red berries during late fall, this outdoor shrub has year long interest in the yard outside your house. The nellie stevens grows in a round pyramidal shape, and can thrive in shade or sunshine. This holly can be pruned into tree form or into a topiary pretty easily. We ordered one plant and were pleased with the product and decided to order a second plant a week later. The second plant was about half the size and the container was busted. For $65 plus $14 shipping, it was pretty disappointing.

I ordered two to see how they looked when they arrived. They looked fine and have been doing fine (though they are semi-dormant here in central Texas). I have since bought 6 more. I have received 4 of them and they all were healthy. They were a tad root bound but I just pulled the roots apart when I planted them.

tiny white eggs covered the underneath side of several leaves on the plants . Should have been treated before leaving nursery.

I ordered and received 3 of the 1 gallon size plants to see if they would work as a plant screen on my patio. Each arrived intact despite the box being a bit crushed. Each came green with berries and blooms, slightly moist soil, and upright in the box. They are very healthy and just needed a drink of water and some sun. Now they shine nicely in the sun and are happy and growing. If I need any other plant or more of these, I would not hesitate ordering from this store. They have impressed me with the quality, shipping time, and plants. If you see a plant you like, give them a try, you may not be disappointed. I was Super Happy!
