This worked just fine for the rear axle on my 1984 F250 to remove the nut.It seems to be built well enough for light duty use.It was narrow enough to fit inside hub.

I probably wouldn't be trying to take a truck axel out with this socket, but it was exactly what I needed for my trailer oil bath caps (dexter 21-36)It fit good and despite the kind of goofy weld across the back but not inside it's actually a pretty heavy socket that I think is great for the price, and will last me the life of the trailer if that's all it's used for.
