The switch is well made and looked easy to install. However, in my case, I ordered the wrong size and the bolt did not fit. Got the same brand only smaller and all works well.

My original lasted at least 30 years in the ocean (the boat is a 1970). The heavy duty is worth the money especially if you are in salt water. I opened my first one up, it was sealed with an o-ring, almost clean as new inside after decades.Absolutely has 1/2in studs, all three studs.
