Flimsy wood. Barely any finish on the box.We gave this as a present for our granddaughter. Very disappointed. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Wanted a box to put my cats ashes in. Looks very nice. The name is a sticker and the lotus looks like maybe a sticker with added paint detail. Box is sturdy, smooth and well made. Good hinges and hardware. Wonderful bargin for the money. (dark corner in picture is a shadow)

I never write reviews, but in this case, I felt I had to. I have terminal cancer so I wanted something pretty to put my journal and some photos in, for my family. I did a lot of searching before I decided on this one and I am so glad I did Its beautiful! I should have picked a darker color for the engraving, but I still love.
