Made of heavy duty Canvas; would not hesitate to use on my 90 lb. dog. Originally wanted it to use in conjunction with my engine hoist to lift her to trim her nails. Have not had to use it as my dog is getting more comfortable cutting her nails.

Is the right size for a adult basset hound.60 lbs .Held him just fine.Nail clippers might work on a kitten.

Love love love, it’s been a struggle to cut our big boys nails until now. He still puts up a fight but this hammock makes it so much easier. All the neighbors come over to use it. Absolutely recommend.

Works like a charm. There is no way my dog will allow me to cut her nails without it. I still have to turn her head away when doing her closest front paw (to keep from getting bit). I use an oak 1" square fence post stick (home depot) from a snow fence placed between my dining room table and a high chair on a couple of pillows (both the same height) to suspend the dog a few inches off the floor. It gets easier each time I use it both for me and the dog. The dog gets more used to it and I gain more confidence using it. Great invention !!

Trimming toe nails was a nightmare for us, until we purchased the hammock. Now we trim toe nails every 2 weeks so they stay very short. It is very easy, and once our dog is up in the air he doesn't even fight us. We would definitely recommend this product and should have purchased it years ago since we have been fighting with toe nail trims with 2 other dogs and now finally bought something that works perfectly. Plus the trimmer that comes with the hammock makes sure you don't cut to short.

I bought a large and small. The smaller dogs seem to have it easier. My large dogs were so uncomfortable. Works as needed, if you're quick

Our super nervous pupper hates the vet and we got this to be able to keep her nails and dew claws trimmed. It is perfect for it. The strap over her back kept her snug and secure. The longer end goes at her neck - that's one thing that wasn't 100% clear, but we figured it all out :)
