After receiving this product, I found that my original, fancy lift rod didn't fit this linkage.The hole was too small.I took the linkage over to Ace Hardware and they enlarged the hole.It now works fine.The price was right and is probably perfect for most faucets.

rod only measures 7.25" long. Too short for my situation. There are no measurements on the product description. Seller should add them. My time and money was wasted on this

The metal connection rod bent and flexed on first use. Bought it to replace one that had flexed after years of use. This one couldn't make it through one use.

This product is fine for replacing a similar one that is showing its age. The pull rod is OK; the clevis strap (the piece with the holes) is of a cheaper and lighter material than you would get with a new faucet kit, but it'll work fine. Oddly, the clevis strap (which is 8 1/4" long, by the way) has a curve to it. Most of the straps that come from the faucet manufacturers are basically a straight piece of metal with holes punched in it (along with the fastening configuration with the clevis screw). Ultimately, I needed a longer clevis strap than provided by the faucet maker. Because of the curve and the fact that the holes in the replacement clevis strap were separated by different distances than those of the new faucet's (too short) clevis strap, I couldn't really use this one (threw it in my spare parts bin). In the end, I cut out a piece of the old but still serviceable clevis strap and bolted it to the new one in order to extend the length (picture attached).

We moved in to a rental house, and neither bathroom had drain lifts! The owner bragged how they spent so much money replacing all the plumbing a year ago. Couldn't afford another $13 to finish the sinks? Really?This item came quickly. All the parts needed are included. Took my husband very little time to install them in the bathrooms, and they work exactly how they should. The seal appears tight, and no water draining prematurely. Good value.
