So it arrived, when weather finally permitted went to Mom's got out ladder and replaced the bulb and nothing - wait a while it came to life and flickered just like the last bulb that it was replacing. Had enough of this nonsense and installed standard fixture with 3w bulb that doesn't cost a fortune and stays on 24/7.Another $25 bulb that's useless. Avoid this junk and screw in an LED bulb with standard outdoor light fixture.

GREAT REPLACEMENT BULBS. High quality replacement bulbs; that meet all manufacturer specifications. Will definitely purchase these bulbs again; and would recommend them to anyone who needs to replace 35W High Pressure Sodium Medium Base Bulbs. You can find cheaper bulbs, but they are not the quality of these Philips bulbs! Well worth the money, and the seller was terrific!
