Bright and zoomable. Don't like the cycling through brightness and flashing. Battery level easy to see. No just on/off.

Wow! This light is bright. It shines a long distance, which helps when checking for "critters" before going to work in the morning. Because it recharges, the light stays bright; a charge lasts a long time. Definitely would recommend.

Item is exactly as described. Very bright, capable of both rechargeable battery and regular, not rechargeable batteries. Comes with the plastic case, charger cord, rechargeable battery, and lanyard. Focus function is very easy to use and convenient, instructions come with it and are very easy to learn and understand. Overall it’s a simple and effective design.

First of all it is REALLY bright which I love. Fantastic weight to it so it feels amazing to hold AND (I discovered after I bought it) it can act as a power bank for all my USB doodads. That is amazing. I love this thingThe only thing I feel a little disappointed about - not a big thing - the listing suggests 100,000 lumens but it the little book that comes with it says “up to 20,000 lumens”. It’s still obscenely bright just not quite as unnecessarily bright as I was hoping it would be

This flashlight is intense! I was able to shine it into our wooded property which started 240’ from where I was standing and on into the woods another 320’ to an old shed. Love the strobe and flashing settings for emergencies. This flashlight is no toy and great care should be taken not to shine it in someone’s eyes. Do not allow children access to it. It is heavy and made well. It comes with a rechargeable battery, an alkaline battery pack that holds 3-AAA batteries that come with it as a back-up and a USB-C cable to charge it and charging interface. The case is sturdy and has tufted foam padding inside. The case is not quickly nor easily opened and creates loud locking and opening snap sounds. You’ll want this out of the case beforehand if you’re trying to be stealth. Case has a paracord handle and the flashlight has a heavier paracord lanyard for your wrist or maybe attach to a caribiner.

I have a high end Surefire that is amazing, but eats through expensive CR123 batteries like there is no tomorrow. So I bought this flashlight as a more economical and less environmentally impactful choice. At first is was awesome—the high beam is more of a flood style and is very bright, though it is on the cooler side color-wise, so it doesn’t render colors very well (translation—makes it hard to see dog poo in the grass). About 8 months after purchase, it seemed like it ran out of charge more quickly. It continued to deteriorate to the point where it would just shut off on its own. For a while it would come back on using the on switch, but eventually it stopped working all together unless plugged in. I got about 13 months out of it.Since the kit came with a 3-way frame to hold alkaline batteries, I switched over to that. The flashlight works with the alkaline batteries, which indicates the rechargeable cell that came in the kit is now shot. So now I’m back to the issue of throwing away spent alkaline batteries, which defeats one major reason for getting this flashlight.Other general comments—I am not one to use all the modes, but it is pretty cool that it has a side light. I can see this being useful for hands free usage since it will shine brightly while the flashlight stands on end. I also like that the kit came complete, including the charger. I am giving 3 stars due to the poor color rendering and poor rechargeable battery life.ETA—I ordered 26650 replacement rechargeable batteries—a set of 2 cost more than this entire flashlight kit. I will see if I can update again later after having the new batteries.Edit 2 (May 2024): well, I tried the new rechargeable battery in the flashlight after my alkaline batteries ran out. Unfortunately, the flashlight will no longer charge rechargeable battery, even though the replacement battery was the same type as what came with the flashlight. So, 2x money wasted. I can’t recommend this flashlight. Changing from 3 to 1 star. Buyer beware!
