This is one of 3 different air filter systems that I purchased approximately 2 years ago.I live in a basement apartment and sometimes have that musty moldy smell. I have this machine by my bed. I think it’s pretty quiet (even though it’s the “loudest” of the 3, but I like the “white noise”), it’s compact (it’s the smallest of the 3) and light weight. I’d like to believe it’s working, but I still have that “basement” smell.Recently I purchased more filters for all three of my machines. But the (pre) filter wasn’t the reason the light came on on the Puraclenz. It’s the cell that needs to be replaced (every two years evidently). The cell costs $150. Unfortunately, I may buy another Levoit (maybe even the AirDoctor) before I spend that much for a replacement part for a machine that was costly (to me) to begin with.

I did mold petri dishes. The rooms that had these machines dropped in mold growth amazing. I can’t find them anymore

I have been monitoring air quality for a univ for 243 days and average air quality was moderate@ 62. I have had the Puraclenz Photon for 10 days and improved the air quality to 89 which is satisfactory. I expect with time it will be even better! And that is great for the respiratory system !

Very sleek and modern, does not take up a lot of space. Beautiful next to anything, so it’s hard to find the perfect spot! I have an infant at home so it makes me feel better to give him cleaner air! The more I use it the more I realize I need to have another one for my work office (an older building that really holds onto odors). Super easy to set up. Highly recommend!

I've battled mold in our home in every way I know except a full renovation we don't have time or money for. This little device beats it back strong. My wife looked like she lost ten pounds the morning after I plugged it in, and my symptoms are greatly improved. It's expensive, I suspect it doesn't need to be THAT pricey, hopefully price will come down, but compared to living in disease and sickness it's a small price.

I have been using it for some time and don't see much of any improvement. For that price, there are several other products with similar functions that work better. Also, this company charges close to $100 more for bigger space coverage by using the exact same machine with higher fan power. Meaning, just by increasing the fan speed a bit and you have to pay that much more. It should come with a switch that can control the fan speed as needed and this costs very little. Too expensive, little function, and for that reason I would not recommend it to anyone.

This "air filter" is the worst.. it claims to be able to clear a decent size room in minutes. I was using it in a room no bigger than 110 sq ft after a few hours I checked the filter, nothing. Let it run all day! The filter's spotless. After a week the filter looked cleaner than when I first turned it on! Since it was so pricey I thought it had to be good quality. My $10 box fan catches more dust than this $300 air filter.
