These paddles were very popular among the group of us that wanted to improve our game. They are over 8 oz so even though they are approved by the USAP for use in tournaments, this paddle is a bit heavy. But for doing drills...and being reminded to track the ball until it contacts the paddle, this paddle is very effective. It resembles a normal paddle too with the long handle as our group all trying to incorporate the two handed back hand.

I wanted to get better with my hands and eye coordination and this has been a major help for me , the paddles just small enough to give you the feel a your real ones and comes with extra weights to place around so you can get that perfect feel, I’ve even seen some people playing with this exact model on our local courts.

This practice paddle is weighted on the head and provide provides good feel while practicing shots. Allow you to focus on hitting the paddle in the center. They recommend as a supplementary training device. Also recommend purchasing the smaller Pickleball balls. Only downside is that image on paddle will wear out quickly because it’s painted on.

I was really surprised at the high quality of these paddles, especially for the very low price. These are really helpful in training to hit the sweet on your regular paddle. They really improve accuracy. They are also great for warm up. The long handle insures that the hitting surface on these training paddles corresponds to where the sweet spot is on a regular paddle with a normal size handle. I was able to overgrip them with standard pickleball overgrip tape. The carbon hitting surface seems to be very high quality. They even come with lead tape if you want to adjust the paddle. I'm very happy with these, and they are an excellent value.

Been using this paddle for a couple weeks now. Been using in Games.Bought it mainly to retrain myself to stay focused on the ball. Was getting into a bad habit of looking away too early. For this the paddle really help because there is no room for error with such a small surface.Second benefit is being able to hit the sweet spot with my regular paddle consistently.The nitty gritty stuff.This paddle is light, weighing in @ 7.5oz. 1.1oz lighter than my reg paddle. But it comes with weights that I will be adding on later.Overall the paddle feels very similar to a control paddle. Has a soft touch, and is comfortable in the hands. The ball does come off the paddle pretty quick when needed for speed ups and put away shots.Surface finish. It's gritty and allows for a good amount of spin. Only concern would be durability. As seen in the pictures there are already chips around the edges and even on the surface of the paddle.1 of the chips was just from the paddle sliding off the bag and falling appx 2". The others were during play and with very little contact. The edges are seem brittle. The little chips on the surface face are from the ball and whatever it may have picked up along the way.

Lacks power and pop. You have to swing harder to get any speed off the ball. But It is useful for training to consistently hit sweet spot.

Revised 3/1/24 - okay, my first review was a little harsh. The seller contacted me immediately and offered an explanation and a solution. The first paddle I received was apparently from an early run and weighed much less than the current model. Qyntelix offered to send me the newer version (which I accepted). It arrived today. It weighs 7 1/2 oz. stock out of the box. Much better. It seems to be good construction and the surface has some good grit to it (spray on). For their outstanding customer service and overall good product at a great price, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.———————————**Original review**Outright lie about the weight. The paddle only weighs 5 1/8th oz. Maybe in the box it weighs 8 oz. Pretty basic construction. Pretty dead surface. You get what you pay for, I guess. Just don’t understand why they lied about the weight.
