Ordered this medal as a gift. The size was as explained, bout the size (meaning in length) of a nickel. It is silver on the edges and in the pic of the saint himself, the background is an embossed white. It was a bit thinner than I expected. Felt cheap,a little light in weight. The good news is it arrived quickly in perfect condition. He is a bit of an obscure saint so I was glad to find Him at all.
