This salt lamp is absolutely gorgeous. I could not be happier with it. It is beautifully designed to be more of a salt lamp with an oomph- I’ve seen lots of these, and I’ve never seen one like this. I have always wanted a really big one, and while this is still on the smaller end of what I want to ultimately have, I loved the design and went for it.The salt lamp has some weight to it. Most of them do, but because this is essentially one big solid block of salt. Just expect it to be heavy. The lightbulb is housed inside during shipping, so if you think you don’t have one- look inside! It was really easy to put together once I had all the pieces in place. It has been on since I received it and it is absolutely gorgeous. I got a lot of compliments on it. I really especially love the way that the wood panel on the salt plays off of the stand. Both are exceptionally designed, and the image on the face of the salt lamp is gorgeous. They just work really well together, and then the contrast offered by the pink salt is just beautiful.The only complaint that I have about this particular salt lamp is just the way that it was packaged. The first one that arrived, and arrived with a crushed lightbulb housing among other things (no bulb, no stand, it was a mess- I think someone might have accidentally sent me something that had been returned). I genuinely believe that if the packaging were expanded, just a little bit, even one or 2 inches, and some lthing like Styrofoam or bubble wrap put in, would prevent a lot of breakage. I can honestly say this is the only salt lamp I’ve ever seen that was not packaged with some sort of bubble wrap or Styrofoam or other protective material.

Can confirm this is 100% real Himalayan salt. No damage or flaws. Light switch has a dimmer which is great! Sturdy weight so little risk of tipping over. I highly recommend!

The lamp was extremely heavy, which is expected for a salt lamp, however this caused the bulb sheath and power switch to be completely crushed in transit. The plastic housing for both parts were in a lot of tiny pieces inside the box and I had to gorilla glue them together in hopes the lamp would still work. It did! The lamp is great and I adore the design on the front. I still need to finish replacing the housing on the switch, since most of it was unusable, but I do plan to continue using the lamp for as long as it still works. Note: Don't lick the lamp.

This lamp is absolutely beautiful, adding serene ambiance to our family room. I've long-espoused the benefits of Himalayan salt lamps that are known to help detoxify the air. I have a few of the clumpy-looking lamps that were first available years ago. This hand-crafted mountain design makes such a difference in decor.The lamp was packaged in a giftable box. Unfortunately, some of the plastic broke off around the light insert. (see picture). However, it does not affect the light placement at all.The dimmer switch is an added benefit and so easy to use. I set my lamp on a timer to come on during the times that we generally occupy the room. I highly recommend this salt lamp for the price, quality, and design.

The Himalayan salt lamp with mountain design is really pretty and works well. Its very large and heavy. One of the biggest salt lamps I've ever seen. It has adjustable brightness and gives off a nice orange ambient light. Creates a nice atmosphere while not being overwhelming or blinding. Makes a great night light. I personally love the mountain design, its what initially attracted me to this salt lamp. I love mountains and tree designs so this caught my attention. And I really like the wood combo with the salt but I did notice, like some of the other reviews mentioned, that the salt had damaged the outer edge of the wood design on the front of the lamp. Its not very noticeable, especially in low light, and I felt that it didn't take away from the beauty of the lamp. I think if the company that makes these lamps applied some kind of sealant or clear coat on the wood piece before attaching it to the salt, it would help protect the wood from salt damage. Its such a beautiful lamp and creative design, its a shame that they didn't think to protect the wood in some way. The lamp itself works beautifully and like I said the small flaw is bare noticeable and doesn't bother me so I am able to over look it but that is why I gave only 4 stars.

This turned out to be bigger and better than expected. I got it for my hubby for our upcoming anniversary.We got a nice salt lamp a couple of years back and my hubby used to put his hand on it while he sat in his recliner reading.He ended up letting someone have it who really wanted one but couldn't afford it. I think he misses it.So I decided to order this one for him.It's an upgrade from the other one we had.Its SUPER heavy though so be careful when moving it. We have a glass table so I'm a bit concerned about putting in on there.It's nice to have the benefits of the salt heating up but also have it be a bit of décor.Nice to have around. And if things get really bad in the future, we could always eat the lamp!

This salt light is so soothing. It has a nice glow. One thing I like about this salt lamp is that you can dim it to the way you like it. You can use it as a nightlight. It feels earthy. It’s a nice size. Looks very expensive.
