Our alignment clamp works great on all 2 inch to 6 inch (5.1 - 15.2 cm) pipes no matter the thickness of the walls. It can even hold two pieces very well.
This pipefitter tool is suitable for a variety of applications, from tube to tube in order to weld, as well as for tube to tube fittings and elbows, and tube to flange fittings.
The main body of this pipe clamp fitting is carbon steel plated with finished surface for corrosion and wear resistance.

My husband is a welder. He used it to fit up pipe. It eliminated the need of an extra person because it was able to correctly align the fitting to the tube to eliminate high low. Great product.

Is the tool for the job. It is heavy. But great to have. Ordered it and too a while to get it so shipping is questionable. Don’t order if wanting in a week. But I work in piping so I use it quite a bit.
