These strings really sing on my antique cello. My local string shop says these are a perfect fit for it and that they are a lower tension string than some other brands.

Strings sound very metalic, really disappointed. I wish I could exchange them. D string broke 2 weeks after purchase. I do not recommend this strings to any cellist, waste of money and time.

Yes, these strings are fantastic, but spending $200+ on strings sure is hard to justify.I'm pleased with the strings, and they do their job well.

I love the C G and D stings, the A is a little bright for my cello, it doesn't seem to match the tone of the other stings, so I'm taking that one off.Plucking the stings is interesting as they almost sound guitar like, more of a metal sound than I'm used to but in a pleasant way.It took a couple weeks for them to stretch out so keep that in mind if you are going to play any concerts or recitals.
