I have a couple of old cap and ball revolvers, that need a storage case so I bought this hoping it would work. Well it arrived today 2024/08/10, and thought I had made a mistake when I saw the box in my mailbox. But delightfully I hadn’t, as this fits my 1858 Remington New Model Army made by Pietta with its 8 inch barrel perfectly. So I have no doubt that this will work for my Colt 1860 Army, or my Colt 1851/1861Navy models. Probably will not work for a Colt Walker or Dragoon, as those have a longer barrel. The inside has a nice soft rug, and the outside seams to be a medium thickness nylon with a good zipper and D ring so should hold up for many years of use. Or at least until I build a custom wood case for it. So I will probably buy another one for my 1860 Colt Army fairly soon.

This isn't the best case ever, but well worth the little amount of money it costs. It was hard to find a case long enough for my Taurus Judge Magnum with a 6.5" barrel. This fit the pistol perfectly. Zipper is good and the case provides some padding.

Zipper is weak, padding super thin, but it's inexpensive and usable.

It's a perfect fit for the Ruger Mark IV 10" barrel (.22 caliber). Even with a Tandemkross bolt racker, or with Volquartsen's extended bolt, the fit is great.
