I've caught trout from Colorado to Virginia with this. Stand upstream of an eddy in a stream, drop this guy back where you think a fish is. Just keep it there, allowing the blades to spin in the current but the fly isn't actually moving. Get ready for the rainbows to attack. Works well on smallies also
