No instructions on the proper fill level . Or a mix ratio chart. I’ve seen that info on cheaper bottles.

The suction lid doesn't work. There is no grip on the side lid ring to keep the lid on. I did use it once and the pump filled up with water (so best not to use in the shower). I threw the dispenser in the trash.

This is my first refillable foam soap dispenser, so I am not taking any stars off for this point, but if you’ve never had to fill your own foam soap dispenser, be warned there’s a bit of a learning curve (at least for this one); it took a few days of soap only, then liquid only, and then weak, runny foam to finally get a nice rich foamy lather to dispense, and even now I’m not totally sure what the ratio of soap to water is supposed to be, BUT, for the time being, there’s foam soap coming out of the dispenser and it’s lovely and luxurious.The dispenser looks sleek and the pump moves easily — two-finger press gets you a full handful of soap.When refilling, the lid lifts out of the body with no twisting or yanking.. if anything, it comes out almost *too* easily; my husband attempted to move the dispenser one day by picking it up from the top and ended up pulling the lid off and spilling soap water everywhere.The plastic is matte, which looks really cool, but it does water spot very easily. You can see traces of soap residue and water drips all over the container. Fortunately, it rinses off easily as well, and we’re keeping it in our bathroom, not guest space, so it doesn’t matter too much how it looks; if I were buying for a guest room I would not go for the matte look again, at least not in black. The water spotting might be less noticeable in the white or beige.The price is better than what I can find things for locally, plus it’s foaming, so I really have no complaints! Not a necessity or a must-buy, but if a foamy soap holder is on your wishlist, this one should do.
