This is not a sexy bra by any means, but it offers great daily support and is literally THE BEST fitting bra I’ve ever owned. I am very impressed that I have no gap in the cup area at all, even if I’m sitting in a lazy way. I do love the material, the cushy wide straps, overall coverage. I also like the “ghosted in” subtle design. I bought 5 of them in different colors and I threw all of my other bras out. I eventually will buy more of these for 100% sure. For reference, I wear a 38d, usually I’m a size 12 (if that matters to anyone)

I can always count on a Platex 18 Hour Bra to fit well, be well made, and look nice. This was true to the Playtex brand for color, washability, and fit. They are very comfortable all day long. The only complaint would be the same as I have with all bras... The straps are never as long as I like, making it difficult to get the straps over the shoulders. One more inch would make a world of difference! Once I get the straps up they are a great product. There is good stretch to the fabric so they are super comfortable. Will be buying again and would recommend this brand to others.

It is non padded & no wire. with good support, good straps, and true to size. It safely arrived wrapped & packed well in an Amazon envelope with on time delivery service. Thanks,DC

It’s definitely a granny bra. It smells like a grannies perfume but did the trick for $35. It’s hard to find a bra in 50 ddd. I’m 280lbs and 28 weeks pregnant and this bra is a god send. Not very flattering but holds the girls in good. No wire or padding. But good value for money.

You know your bras are old and so worn out that they no longer hold you up, no matter how much you tighten the straps. This was the case for me since I hadn't bought new bras in YEARS so I decided it was time to invest in some bras. I used to spend a lot of money on each bra from an expensive store (shhh, it's a secret!) and, while I loved them, it didn't seem to be very practical to me if I could find less expensive bras that were good quality and could do just as good of a job. I remember seeing Playtex bras when I was much younger and started searching for them. This seemed to be a popular choice among many people so I chose one of these to test it out. This Playtex bra is an 18 hour bra meant to lift and support all day. It doesn't have an underwire and it's lightly padded on the shoulder straps. The cups aren't padded and there are three hooks for each of the three closure sizes for a total of nine hooks. I purchased the nude color which is a nice, light color that is good for a lot of light-colored and dark-colored clothes. Washing instructions are machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low. It is made in El Salvador of 81% nylon and 19% spandex (cup and center belt) and 92% nylon and 8% spandex (back). I always put my bras in lingerie bags in the washing machine and hang them up to dry.For sizing purposes, I am typically a 36D and ordered a 36D in this bra. It fits perfectly so I'd say you will most likely want to order your normal size. This is a full-coverage bra so it goes up a little higher on your chest. I like the fact that it fits me nicely, the straps are padded and comfortable and the design is attractive. The reason I'm not a big fan of this bra is because I don't feel it's very supportive. I usually wear underwire bras and thought I'd try this because it seems to be a popular choice. Even though I tighten the straps, I still feel like I'm drooping because I don't feel the bottom part holds me up enough. I end up adjusting myself several times throughout the day (fortunately, I'm a stay-at-home mom). The other reason I don't really like this bra is because it isn't padded. I don't need a lot of padding but I like some padding to hide the fact that I get cold. It was very easy to see that I was cold when I wore this bra, which my husband was delighted to point out to me.Since this particular bra doesn't suit me well, I ended up purchasing which I LOVE and ordered several of them! I opted to keep this 18-hour bra because I can just use it for when I'm relaxing at home so it will get some use but I don't see myself purchasing anymore of these anytime soon (I'm in my mid-30s so this could change when I get older). I think if you are smaller-chested, this is a good option because it's comfortable, especially if you don't like underwire. I'm bigger on top and prefer padding and underwire so this bra doesn't suit me but others may like it.

Okie, I want soooooo bad to give this a solid 5 out of 5 stars. It's perilously close to being a 5 out of 5 star bra...but there are a few things that miffed me and made me dock a star. The first being, I measured once, I measured twice, I followed all of the online fitting instructions and purchased a bra that was "my size"by their measurement requirements....except the cups were too big.Agghh.Not a LOT too big, just enough so that the fabric of the cups creased a bit and when wearing a thin tank or t-shirt and you were looking hard at my chest (mind you no one but my husband better be doing that and he was a kind and willing bra purchase assistant) you could see the wrinkled surface of the bra top. It kind of gave the illusion that it was REALLY COLD... *ahem* the ladies know what I'm talking about.I was annoyed at this as the bra says it's my regular size, I did their measurements to confirm I was buying "my size"in their brand as it was my first playtex branded bra, and it was in fact NOT the right size. But it was bloody frigging comfortable. What a problem to have eh?Seriously, this is a VERY comfortable bra. Also it's the very first bra I have worn, with the exception of exercise ones, where the bra straps don't creep down my shoulders. I always just figured I have narrow shoulder with or roundy shoulders or not enough shoulder hump or low tolerance for tight bra straps..I dunno, but bra strap creep down is so common I hardly noticed any more.So after the slightly baggy cups, the supreme overall comfort I washed and wore it for the day and was thrilled to realize it doesn't creep down the arms! Nice!So I kept this bra and hoped it would tighten up in the cups a wee micro bit upon washing, which it actually did..just a micro bit...not enough to depend on I think...but for me it was enough to feel satisfied. It's certainly not a "too big bra" just...a little loose..aggh I dunno..Anyways I was so pleased over all I ordered the same one in one cup size smaller and lo and behold PERFECTION!!!!!I was very happy at this point as I figure I have found my every day wear dream bra.Being that it fulfills all these requirements:Affordable.Pretty-ish.Supportive.NO UNDER WIRES.Now comes my other gripe. I want one in black.Do you think I can find one in my size in black?Either it's a bra conspiracy or like literally most of the playtex bra consumers have the exact same bra size and you all have my black bras (I am joking, sort of...ha ha...but seriously)I looked on Amazon.I looked on their own website.I looked in Walmart, on Walmart's website on some other competing big box type department store websites...WHERE IS MY SIZE IN BLACK?Yes it's a first world problem but I feel quite frustrated.I find what I think of as the "perfect bra"(once I figured out my true size) and now I have 2 colour choices, nude or white.I live in the desert, strappy tank tops are the uniform of life for like 10 months of the year. Black and dark tabk tops are excellent livable choices in a hot, dusty, sweat inducing environment. I don't mind my bra straps showing under/beside my tank top straps but it would be nice if they were black. Or at least that dark blue (also not available in my size)I know it's not a big deal but ...it is sort of a big deal.I find what I want, this is what they do, they make bras and underwear and whatnot and apparently just sell out of a popular size and don't restock?I tried another brand since I discovered the lack of black bra in my size...and it's horrible in comparison.I tried other versions of Playtex bras in black one was horrible, scratchy, stiff nasty...I couldn't believe it was the same brand as this bra.I found a passable bra. Somewhere in between horrible and amazing, also by playtex...I hope to find they re-stock my size in black soon.Anyways, so I'll boil it down to a shorthand review in case you're a skimmer.Sizing is unpredictable as the cups run loose.Limited colours in some sizes.
