These are great bang for your buck. They seal great, they look good and they are easy to install if you use common sense. They come slightly warped like some have complained about but they are warped down in the center where ford has less bolts. So u put all the bolts in just a couple of turns each I like to start at rack end. Once you get em all in hand tighten them until the rtv starts to squeeze out. “The right stuff” rtv works excellent for this. Wait an hour then torque them down. Installed several none have leaked it’s not hard at all the bolt holes line up just fine if you put them all in before you tighten any down. The slight warp is to your advantage as it acts like a spring holding downward pressure in the area that’s lacking on bolts. Definitely worth the money if you know what you’re doing and do it right. I usually put longer bolts to insure good thread engagement as the ones in the kit are same length as stock but the base of the plenum is thicker so I use slightly longer 8.8x1.25 20 bolts and they work great.

Recently purchased this product to get better airflow in my 7.3 for a larger turbo. Great price, came with nice new bolts, fits perfectly!

I put them next to my R&D high dollar brand and exactly the same but w a sand blasted finish. So they are not easily polishable but I’m not so perfect finish for just putting on. The holes do miss aligne so you will need to get a rat tail file or drill. But for the money they are supper great buy just need to open the holes a little or file the holes a bit maby 1/4 in the most on a few. If ur doing the work you should have the tools or cheap option for good solid upgrade so u can clamp the boots down w out the this steel ones giving way on you!! With knowledge of the holes the price makes sense.

I bought these to upgrade from the early 99 7.3, great quality and value. Noticed a power gain and MPG gain.

get the ford sealer also some longer hose boots won't hurt Avoid the temptation to make the opening match the inside size of the pipe! unless you just want to do the job twice and spend the money twice CAUSE I DID.... is this an easy job not really especially on the passenger side do you really need these? probably not.... but if you already have your turbo and pedestal off then now would be the time to do the job these manifolds work well and are priced well they might be the cheapest but are good quality thick aluminum your going to spend a bunch of time cleaning the surfaces and getting gunk out of the way before you remove the Oe manifolds then making sure no foreign objects get where you don't want em to be i think i spent about a day doing this between cleaning, doing it twice and the tight spaces involved and not removing fuel filter or filter lines would i want to do this again >probably not but i glad i got it done and now i know i have unlimited clamping force so the boots should never be loose

If I paid more for these I would be mad but there cheap and work they came super warped but was able to heat up and flatten out enough to make not leak
