This is a great miniscope for a young budding scientist, nature lover or inquisitive kids. It is small and portable in a carrying case. It can be taken on nature hikes to study nature along the way. It is pretty sturdy and comes with some prepared slides to get your kids started on their journey. We are using this with our Cub Scouts on Nature Walks.

This is an awesome little microscope! Perfect size for children and easy to use. It comes with slides so they can look at bug parts and plant matter. This isn’t powerful enough to see microorganisms but it will let you see the textures/fibers of stuff up close, which is pretty cool. The price is great for this little microscope, at just around $20. I would highly recommend this for children or the adults that just wanna have fun too!

I got this for my son, 8. I haven't used a microscope in 30 years and I forgot they don't work like a magnifying glass. You have to actually put the thing you want to look at on a slide. This kit comes with five slides of varying items to look at, and they're fun, but it's only five. The light works well (it takes one AAA battery, not included). I like the wrist strap. You can fine-tune the sharpness of the image and that's really nice. Overall, this is a fun toy but an improvement would be to include additional blank slides.

This is a great mini microscope for a young budding scientist. It is small and portable with its own carrying case, so you can take it on nature hikes and study along the way. It is pretty sturdy and comes with some prepared slides to get your kids started on their journey. The view is great for a toy, as you can see in the picture taken from the eye piece on one of the slides provided with the set. The image is clear and it was not at maximum magnification. This will be a great learning tool for back yard exploration or on camping or hiking trips. Good value for the price and offers loads of outdoor (and indoor) fun.

This toy is awesome and haas all the attributes to keep a child’s attention and creating a learning experience that can be ongoing. The device has goods lighting via LED and an easy to manage dial to adjust magnification. I plan to use this with my inquisitive grandson and quite frankly I am intrigued by the amount of detail you can see on everyday common items that you would not imagine having the underlying definition and details. I expect with a little help even as young as a 6 year old could appreciate the microscope and use for many years. The body of the device is a solid plastic and the slides that accompany the kit just make you want to look at other things. I found a spot of blood to be VERY interesting!
