My 3 year old has gotten really excited about Pokémon lately and his favorite is this monkey character. I got him this pokeball with this character for his Valentine’s Day gift and it’s been a huge hit so far. It is made for the clip on belt I guess, which we don’t have right now, but it still works great and if we decide to get the belt it will be nice to have one to go with it already. The only thing is that because it is designed for the belt, there is a clip on the back that has to be in the right place in order to open the pokeball which was frustrating for my toddler until he got the hang of it. Other than that, it’s been great. The ball has been thrown a couple of times and not broken but I wouldn’t encourage that. The colors are great, the figurine looks good, and my child has a ton of imaginary fun with it.

My grandson loved this, but after a few uses, it becomes hard to close and it frustrates him. The size is perfect for fitting some of the smaller pokemon into the ball. If the lid did not sometime jam or stick it would be much better toy. I bought two of these, and he has already broken one by trying to force it closed and the hinge sort of snapped.

My 5 & 3 year olds love playing with these. They like to pretend that they are battling and throw them on the ground. They have been thrown on carpet and our hard floor hundreds of times. They've even thrown them on pavement accidentally and they haven't broken yet!

It is literally a figure and a ball that said figure fits inside but my son specifically asked for it and has absolutely no complaints. Seems pretty robust even after being flung around and has been played with most days alongside other figures which also fit.
