We replaced the prior caps with these plugs. Haven’t fallen out using the ladder or when the vacuum cord hits the ladder. Really happy with this purchase.

I had to shave down the sides to get them into my ladder but they stayed in for the rest of the season. Old ones kept falling off, putting the end of my ladder right on the liner. NOT GOOD. These are in there so good, they're staying in the ladder all winter now that the pool is closed. Perfect.
