It’s metal not plastic

These seem better than plastic clips that wear out.

The mild steel clips rust and break, the plastic ones lose their resistance. I replaced most of them with these stainless ones - they work well now, time will tell how they last. Not all of the applications required both pins, clipping one of them off with bolt cutters solved that problem.

Only 4 stars because most of my brushes and skimmers require grinding the square ends off. Plastic clips are rounded on the end. It's worth the trouble and they'll outlast plastic by decades for sure.

These worked well. The plastic ones are gone in one season and these last. Very easy to install and fit right into the holes on the pool pole. Worth the money!!

Replaced the standard plastic device that breaks really easy - metal is much better and this works.

Love the metal construction. Has solved my problem of the brush head popping out of the pole because the nylon buttons were not sturdy enough to hold the brush head in place. I did have to clip about 1/16th" at the end so it would fit into the brush head.
