I bought this ball for playing in the ocean and pool with my kids. It is lightweight, water resistant, and bounces off the water, which added to the fun. It is the perfect size for the entire family, from pre-teen to adult, which meant we could all play together. In fact, we had so much fun on the beach that other people asked us where they could purchase the ball too! Totally pleased with this purchase.

Right out of the box, it was flat pumped it up, not too much, and it did not last the day at the pool! My grandson was pissed and I was too. Nice ball but will not hold air.

Bought this for a my 10 and 13 year old sons to use during a recent trip. It was a big hit and they played catch with it every day. Easy to thrown and catch, this pool football was popular with several other families as well and was in use almost the entire time we at the pool everyday. Kids and adults were all able to easily throw and catch this ball (most of the time one-handed without spilling a beer ;)Very happy I purchased this ahead of my trip instead of trying to buy something when I arrived. Great purchase and seems well made enough that it should last for a long time.

We received the item in good condition or so we thought. We put it aside as our vacation was still months away. Now that we are finalizing what we need for our trip we decided to take a look at the ball and it won't keep air. We try pumping it up and we hear and feel air escaping from the laces. Don't waste your money on this ball considering we haven't used it yet and it is basically non functional. Also now I can't return it because its been over 30 days so beyond disappointed in this product and company

This has been a good pool football. It gets thrown around by my son and his friends often and has held up well. It's easy for my 10 year old to hold and the colors are very nice. I deducted a star because the seams don't seem to be tightly sewn together. It is a little lose and makes me nervous how well this will hold up. I make sure to never leave it in the pool or sun when not in use for fear the seams will give out but otherwise it is a fun pool toy. Good for what I paid for it.

This soaks up very little water. You can skim it off the water . Very soft so it doesn't hurt if it hits anyone. We use it at the park too and like that it doesn't jam fingers if you catch it wrong. You can throw spirals but as you'd imagine its tough to throw into the wind if it's strong.You can add air with a pump which I've only had to do once after having it a couple of months.I can't think of any reason to give it less than 5 stars. Wish they had a "patriotic" design instead of the sort of random colors and patterns.Go ahead and get this.

Bought two for use at the lake and they are a big hit with kids of all ages. Soft enough so no one gets hurt but enough substance to throw pretty hard if you are playing with an older child or adult. Skips off the water well. Mine came inflated and have not lost any noticeable air so far. May only last a year or two due to being left in the sun and constantly wet but for the price I paid I'm fine with that. We ordered both at the same time and got a red/yellow one and a purple/gold, both have some black & white as well.
