How to Determine the Right Replacement Cartridge for Your Pool or Spa?
Already have the part number? Simply input the filter cartridge's part number or its replacement number into the search bar on our product page to verify compatibility.
Unsure of the part number? Selecting the appropriate cartridge can be achieved by assessing your current one. Follow these steps:
1. Gauge the cartridge's external diameter, ensuring accuracy to within +/- 1/16 inch.
2. Measure the cartridge's length from one end cap to the other, excluding any protruding handles or extensions, to within +/- 1/16 inch.
3. Determine the top and bottom type. If they're open, measure the inner diameter of the opening to within +/- 1/16 inch. For closed end caps, jot down distinct features (e.g., "Handle", "Cone").
4. Note down the filter's manufacturer and model number where the new cartridge will be placed.
5. Check if there's a central core (like a PVC pipe) present.

I replace the filters in the spa depending on use. I found these replacements and they were a two pack which I need for my Bull Frog spa. These units were perfect and started cleaning up the water right away. I could also see a difference in the flow of water through the skimmer opening. Clearly a difference maker for my needs. I would recommend these units to anyone that has this type of filter. They work great!

Order came quick. My model of filter was 10-2870, and this was a perfect match. It is only be in the water for an hour, so hopefully it does what is expected. Price is way less than the hot tub place. I like to support local businesses, but I shouldn't have to pay 50% more for the brand name. It's just a water filter!Nice the seller has the compatible part numbers as part of the listing.

I cannot really do a proper review until these filters have been in my spa for a few months and I go through the cartridge cleaning process. That being said they are better built that the original spa filters I've been using. In particular and very noteworthy is the threading.The threads in a filter can vary quite a bit, and even matching spa filters can be tough as the process of making the threading itself can be subject to many quality problems. In the case of these filters the threading seemed off - too broad, too squared off - compared to my originals. However I've always had a problem screwing on the factory filters - getting the threads to fit, tightening them etc.These spa filters had NONE of that. They were easy to and threaded the first time. Compared to the hit-and-miss of the OEM parts this was amazing.They are also better constructed than the OEM parts. There is no spillover from excess glue where the filter paper is glued against the frame housing. That, honestly, is mostly an aesthetic thing, after all, as long as the filter is fully sealed against the housing everything if fine. But when I see sloppy glue work I wonder what else is sloppy. Maybe some damage to the filter papers, creating larger holes, or stress rips at the folds. The devil, as they say, is in the details. A greasy engine can run fine, but a clean engine shows the mechanic cared.So I give this a five star review with the caveat: the proof of the spa filter is what happens after months of use. Will these clean up readily? Will they still filter find particles after a cleaning or a year of heavy use?Bonus points: they had the model number for an older spa whose OEM parts are no longer made. Bullfrog changed all of its spa filters in 2013. Spa filters from 2003-2012 are one style, 2013 or later are a different and incompatible style.The POOLPURE 8CH-950 is the perfect replacement for 10-2785 Bullfrog Spa Filter.

Great product for a great price. Last minute when opening our spa for the season realized that we forgot to get a new filter. Shipping from all spa stores were a week plus; amazon had this delivered next day!
