This is a very nice porcelain sugar bowl, but the lid is loose and I have to move it around a bit to fit correctly, especially if using the spoon with a full bowl. This could be an issue for some as it could be easily dislodged. There were no flaws in the glaze and it looks very classy. The spoon is labeled 1/4 teaspoon and is very handy. It is not air tight, so be prepared for some clumping if using with sugar or salt. If you plan on using for salt, it would be fine for use with a measuring spoon. If you use kosher salt and like to sprinkle salt with your fingers, then I would recommend a container designed for that method as the opening is too small to accommodate the average hand, especially if it is not completely filled.I really like this sugar bowl and spoon set and would recommend it if the loose lid and possible clumping aren't a deal breaker for you.
