Easy to read when writing with pencil because the lines aren’t too dark. Nice and slim and fit well in my tool pouch. Hold together better than a spiral pad. Not thrilled about the price when compared to spiral pads, but I would probably buy again since they are very trim and fit better with my tool pouch setup.

I used to keep mini spiral notebooks in my pant pocket when I first joined security, but on busy nights when we were running around the property, the sweat from my legs made them fall apart. Pretty gross. One of these survived getting run through the wash, they look professional too, and you get good quantity for the price. I keep the spares in my locker to hand out to trainees

My work uniforms have two shirt pockets that I fill with pencil, Sharpie, calculator, 6" rule, flashlight, and this pocket notebook. I'm a metal fabricator, and I'm always scribbling notes: dimensions, notes, etc.I've always had trouble finding a pocket notebook that would fit in my left shirt pocket. The left pocket has a stitch to facilitate carrying a pencil or pen, and keep it in place. But that renders most notebooks too big. This one fits perfectly! Very happy!

Durability, value, and sturdiness all good. Size 4-1/2" tall by 2-3/4" wide, small enough to stick in a shirt pocket. Size is suitable for occasional notes, calling it a "journal" is stretching it bit. Flip top. 64 Lined pages,(32 leaves lined on both sides). Listed as "top bound". That, to me, means wire bound or glue top. This product has two staples at the top ridge binding the leaves together. That method works ok, but makes it a bit awkward to fold the front cover back out of the way when writing. The cover is 16 point (0.016 in) card stock. With the front cover folded back against the rear cover, it makes for a more stable platform for writing. I would have liked a heavier cover material. All in all, a good buy at 3 for $7.

My son asked for a small notebook which flipped open on the top vs. the side. I ordered based on the reviews and the thin simple look. We actually received the notebook which opened like a book (side) vs. top. I contacted Amazon and they refunded my money. The owner of the company reached out to me a few weeks later after receiving the information (Amazon contacted them - not me) - I was very impressed with this customer service! I was sent the correct notebook. I have used the side opening notebook and really like it. It is a perfect size for keeping shopping lists or taking notes or writing to-do lists. My son likes the top flipping notebook for keeping track of his to-do items. These notebooks would be perfect for kids who want to pretend to be a detective (Blue's Clues) or need a place to draw. I will be ordering more from this company as I have a need.

I bought these 3 note books as an insert for the leather cover I purchased from Amazon and they are a perfect fit. I’m really pleased with these lined note books and added to the leather cover they make a most useful pocket note book. Price-wise the 3 books are costly but they are well made and have a retro appearance that I like. I will buy these again without question.
