I bought one so I could plug in my on-board battery charger/maintainer and my block heater with one cord. It is ideal for this. I'm totally satisfied with the purchase.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one has worked well and I needed one more. Would recommend this plug attachment.

I cut the male end off and used it to repair my extension cord. The wires were the same colours and size which was perfect. I soldiered them together and it works fine. The plastic does go stiff when cold but that's the same as the extension cord so not an issue.

I installed this Y-Cable connector on the front grill area of my AWD vehicle. One female End goes to the engine's block heater plug. Other female End goes to the vehicle's under hood on-board battery 2.0A Trickle/Maintainer charger. Instead of plugging in 2 long extension cords now I simply plug 1 thick extension cord into the male end of this Y-Cable. Easy solution and less long cables to house wall's receptacle outlet to "fuss with". I recommend the product for multiple End Devices that have combined less than 15 Amp peak usage.

Over the years, I have bought many variations of this type of extension cable. I like them because they are short, yet they allow me to connect two different devices into the same receptacle. I always make sure, however, that whichever devices, I connect, do not pull so much current, that they will overwhelm the maximum this cables are rated for. They seem to be well built, I’m not sure about heat resistance because thankfully, I have not pushed them that hard. Other than taking that small thing into account, if you use them carefully, they are great little cables, to use when you have more devices than you have receptacles for in your home.

Not much to explain here, it's a simple splitter that can handle 15amps (total). I'm using it on my UPS because I ran out of available outlets. All of the devices I'm plugging in are fairly low power consumption, there's just a lot of them and I decided on using a splitter instead of a power strip. My only word of caution with this is that it could potentially be overloaded if you were to use it for two high-powered items; a power strip often has a fuse or breaker but two devices trying to pull 8A+ each could potentially overwhelm the wiring in this before tripping your circuit's breaker. Use wisely.

If you need a product that fits your special situation, this may be what you want. I have an outlet inside my screened carport. I wanted access to 120v power on the outside of the carport too. So I plugged it into the outlet then sliced the screen a bit and threaded one of the two output legs through the hole. Put a little silicone grease in the holes to improve the ease with which things can be plugged or unplugged.

Using it to power the oil and block heaters on a semi-truck. Loses all flexibility in the cold, but handles 15amps without any issues.

I have several of these that I use in the house when I need another outlet or the one in the wall is too hard to get to. Things like splitting the plug for my whole house vacuum and the small fridge next to it in the garage, these are great for that. They work great and have lasted years. The only down side to these (and think about this for your application) is that these are heavy. So if you have use that can't handle the weight of something like this consider a lighter duty one. Otherwise these are great.
