Installation Steps:
- Step 1: Using a skid tool to pry the old switch out carefully.
- Step 2: Pull out the plug from the old switch.
- Step 3: Connect the new switch to the wiring harness.
- Step 4: Install the new switch into the switch bezel.

After 24 years the switch in our 2000 GMC Sierra gave up - this switch is inexpensive replacement that works.

This switch does work on my 2001 Suburban, however it was not without fault. The side selector switch is too thick for the trim bezel, causing it to bind up. I had to take to a hobby knife and trim out the bezel piece so the switch would fit through it. Otherwise, this switch does fit into place fine and the connector plugged in without issue. The illumination at night tends to illuminate the center arrows brighter than the top selector switch, but it otherwise is acceptable. Overall I think if you see the value and don't mind the DIY, then it is probably a suitable replacement.

My old switch was bad for about 8 years and my mirrors were not able to control from inside the cab. Don’t know any I waited so long to replace it. The new switch worked the moment I installed it. Ready to install, and great value for the money. Make sure you look at the color you’re ordering so you get the correct color.
