The surface where the crush washer sits closest to the caliper was not machined and was left as a bare casting, resulting in a leaking banjo fitting. I torqued the banjo bolt and crush washer(s) to the required 25 ft lbs, then found conflicting information that indicated 40 ft lbs would suffice. Regardless, the banjo leaked. I had no choice but to grind the surface flat as it was never going to seal as cast and I needed to get the job finished. I should have paid attention when unboxing but my haste to get the calipers installed resulted in the need for modification later. No leaks now, but obviously I can’t return them either. And the powder coat is ruined. Unfortunate.

for a few bucks extra,you get better braking power. they were easy to install but i did have to bleed them twice. that may be my fault im not a mechanic

It's about the same price if not more to buy 2 oem calipers. These ones look and work much better than oem
