Unfortunately I found out the hard way when one of the bolts came loose and dropped into the water while out on a fishing trip. I found out that these bolts/bushings should be replaced periodically and that the tightness needs to be checked frequently. This kit provided all I needed to install new bolts/bushings on my powerpole.

First off, this brought my very worn out Pro Series 2 poles back to a new level of tightness so that’s a win. However, it required a bit of creative DIY to get the job finished due to short parts in the kit and some parts being slightly too big. I purchased two kits and neither one included all parts to do the job - 1st was missing the larger bushings for the transom end, 2nd kit was short 2 transom end bolts. They were shown on the instructions, but simply not included in the baggies. Also, the large diameter bushings for the spike end were too large of an OD to fit inside the pockets on the spike holder. I had to file each one down to fit. Takes about 30 minutes per pole to complete if you have all the parts. Once installed, the poles have zero slop and are tight as new.

I mean...if this is what you are looking for, then this is perfect for your power pole. I didn't replace my bolts for 4 years...wow...I didn't realize the amount of stress these power poles put on these bolts, I'm amazed I only had one bolt snap in all 4 years. And I put a decent amount of time on the boat per year.

My Pro Series II power pole had a lot of give and was wobbly when traveling. Read about this kit. Sure enough, most of the washers on the power-pole had been worn out. Very easy to replace all washers and bushings. The Power-Pole is much more sturdy now. Only issue was 2 washers were missing, however they communicated perfectly and are sending me those washers to complete the set.

I thought I needed to break down and buy a new set of poles as mine felt like they were falling apart. I installed this kit and it's like a new set. No more play in any pivot points.. Well worth the cost if your poles show any signs of wear.. Very easy one person project. Took about an hour for each one at a relaxed pace

This made my power pole pro series II like new again. I would suggest going ahead and replacing your hydraulic lines and fluid at the same time as I did.
