This laser measuring device is off by 1/8" at a 12" distance. Pure "JUNK"!!! Very disappointed, will NEVER buy anything from Power Smith again!!!!!

It never worked out of the box, put the batteries in it powered up and that's it. None of the buttons did anything. Returning it first thing tomorrow. This is a piece of junk. Buy a tape measure at least it works. The only reason I gave it a 1 rating is there is no place for a zero rating!

Excellent product for the price. Longer range measurements must be done during low light times of day. Small form factor makes aiming to small target difficult.

Works great for my projects around the house when I need to get a quick measurement without a tape measurement. It can also find the height of a tree or any unknown height using the pythagorean method. I highly recommend this item.
