Fit perfectly in 2021 Model Y. Wasn't sure if adhesive tape could properly secure the support brackets against the pulling/weight of the retractable cover but have been pleasantly surprised with the product. Been installed for about 4 months and no signs of adhesive pulling away from the rear panels despite regular use of the cover. Frankly unless you looked closely, you'd be hard pressed to notice that this unit was not an OEM part which came with the car. Recommended it to a relative for their Model Y and they love it as well. This is what the car should have come with from the factory. Materials and construction look great. Especially at the price range. Replacement of my Prius rear cover costed me 5 times as much for a used screen.A suggestion on what worked for me with respect to ensuring bracket adhesion was to install the retractable cover and leave extended so there is pressure being applied by all 4 brackets outwards against the rear side panels for 24 hrs before testing normal operation of the screen. This worked for me by allowing enough time for the adhesive tape to set against the car's rear side panels.

Great addition to your vehicle. Attachments are adhesive. May scratch the side plastic if you release the cover from the wrong angle. Would recommend for your model Y!

Pieces don’t exactly match the instructions or video but looks to have gotten the job done. There was no cleaning wipes provided. Had to put the trunk facing hooks lower than instructed to work. Adhesive seems weak so hopefully this stays up during driving/normal wear and tear. Also don’t love that you can see a gap (see maybe 15% of the trunk when looking through the back window) but guess that’s just because of the rounded shape of the car.

I purchased this about a year ago. After using it for a few months, the brackets to hold it started to come lose. I tried using other adhesive to try to put it back back in place but failed. This could be because it's hard plastic attached to hard plastic and the brackets have to pass through the seatbelt. I tried to contact the seller if they sell the adhesive but never received any reply.

Bought for my 22 model Y. After installing found out the screen was too wide. The pins that hold the screen are too long. So I had to modify the pins so they are shorter. After that they fit but still not very smooth. Thought it would be a direct fit almost OEM but that was wrong. Cheap price but wished it fit better.

I love my Model Y but there are some infuriating design shortcomings (don't get me started on CarPlay support). One of them is the lack of a cargo cover. I had one in my Toyota Highlander and in my Prius: the plastic sides had notches to hold it and to attach the end when extended.This gadget brings the same functionality, except that it has to provide the missing attachment points: that's what the four plastic pieces are for. They hold with double-sided tape, and come with special priming wipes to prepare the surface to adhere to. Removing the red plastic tape protection was infuriatingly frustrating, but inserting a pointy blade just under it proved to be the right way to do it and the rest was easy. After that, stick the four holders in place, and you're done!I waited 24 hours before attaching the cover, and it's been working absolutely fine. It's sturdy, easy to roll up and pull out.Recommended, great product.

Product came packed nicely. You will need good finger nails to remove the tape backing before installation. This may have been the hardest part. Trying to figure out the alignment to the seam in the car and the curve in the back was difficult on the first rear mount. Made the second one easy. The mounts around the rear seat belts are easy. Cover is sturdy and colors match up nice. You may need to recline the rear seats to back up the cover. Color matches well. Prices for these are at all ranges, but for the money I thought this was the best choice with the option that were available.
