I really like this wine decanter from Fioance. It looks and feels like quality. Very nice shape, holds a bottle of wine at its widest spot for a perfect decant. Well packaged too - arrived undamaged. The included aerator is an awesome bonus. It includes a screen and the spiral design is always a hit when we decant at a dinner party. This would make a very nice gift. I would buy it again.

This is a very nice set for a gift.The decanter itself is large, but easy to handle. It can by poured from gripping the neck or by pinching the base (there is an indentation on the bottom to allow for a better grip. Pouring from the bottom gives a better reach to share across a table.The aerator is attractive and fun to use. The spiral feature resembles a still as the wine winds down the tube. But the tube itself does not provide a lot of surface area for air to interact with the wine. But what is not seen in the pictures is that there are a handful of small holes along the outside of the spiral that allows for a portion of the wine to shoot out the side of the spiral and slide down the inside of the neck of the decanter. That adds a nice amount of air to open up the wine. Plus the decanter itself has a very wide bottom so as the wine lands in the decanter, it gets aerated. The aerator also has two indentations by the wide top to make it easy to grip and remove without risk of slipping and dropping it.The filter that goes on the top of the aerator is key for older red wines. The dregs that accumulate on the bottom of a wine bottle gets caught in the wire mesh. So you don't have to worry about carefully pouring out the last of the wine and having sludge land in someone's glass.All in all, a very nice set.

Not only is this an exquisite wine decanter it certainly an attraction piece for all wine lovers! Anyone who enjoys wine has got to love the mystery and the beauty behind the grapes in the bottle, and this the cancer, along with its hand blown aerator are certain to bring many hours of conversation with friends and family over beautiful bottles of wine. It begs one to test out and see if an aerator really does make a difference, if decanting wine makes a difference…in my humble opinion they certainly do. You don’t have to be an expert to own one of these, but I would highly recommend it because it’s a fantastic way to really showcase Wine in its best form in fashion open a bottle pour it through the strainer and watch it spiral down the aerator within 3 to 5 minutes. A bottle of wine particularly red will open up. It’s true Flavors anything from chocolate to coffee to boysenberry blueberry strawberry Zinfandel spicy Smokey all of those flavors will be enhanced when you decant. This decanter would look lovely on your holiday dine table. It makes a superb gift for newlyweds or anniversaries, birthdays Christmas alone for any occasion not everyone owns one of these, but I would it’s unique and just think of the hours of friendship and conversation over a meal and a bottle of wine will bring you.

This review is for the Fioance Wine Decanter with Aerator - MAX 67oz Capacity Large Wine Decanter Red Wine Carafe in Elegant Hand-Blown Lead-Free Crystal Glass Design for Red and White Wine.If I were reviewing only the Fioance decanter, my review would be five stars. The decanter is quite attractive to my aesthetic. I have long wanted a decanter of this type. My only wish is that there had been a stopper for the opening. I am looking to find a ball shaped cork of the proper size.However I was disappointed in the aerator. The aerator reminds me of a lawn sprinkler. For my test I chose a young cabernet sauvignon, a bottle I expected would improve with some aeration. I found I preferred the wine simply poured rather aerated. The aerated sample tasted a little flat, possibly the result of over aeration.Again, by itself the Fioance decanter is five stars, but my rating is pulled down by the included aerator.
