I absolutely love the color and style of these shorts! They have a cute, slightly dressy look while still being casual enough for everyday wear. They do fit a bit smaller than expected, but the lightweight fabric makes them perfect for summer and great for traveling abroad!

These are cute shorts but not meant for those of use with thick thighs. My thighs ate these and I constantly felt like I was exposing myself while wearing them 😳 The material is thin and would be cool for summer wear. The pockets are ok, but like most women’s shorts you can’t fit a phone in them without it being awkward or flapping around. I would say these fit true to size. For the smaller ladies; these would be nice cute shorts for summer.

This pair of PRETTYGARDEN Women's Shorts 2025 Summer Drawstring Ruffle Elastic High Waist Solid Color Casual Beach Shorts with Pockets are so cute! I love everything about them. They are available in a variety of solid colors and sizes. I ordered the White, and this color is made with a liner - a pair of form fitting shorts sewn in them so they aren’t see-through - almost like sewn-in underwear (just my description, I don’t believe they are meant to be underwear, lol). The product description states the Pink color also has liner shorts. What an amazing idea!I used the size chart on the product page to order size XXL, and the fit is true, so flattering, very roomy, and very comfortable. For reference I’m 5’ 6”, and 226 lbs. I really love the design - the ruffled elastic waist with a drawstring, and the rounded panel that comes off the waist (front and back) to about the navel, and then small pleats at the top of the wide, flowy legs. The pockets are side seam, deep, and practically invisible unless my hand is in them because the legs are so roomy. The product page states the fabric is 100% polyester, but feels so soft and silky. They arrived a bit wrinkled, but after washing in cold water, putting them in the dryer for about 2 minutes, then line drying, most of the wrinkles came out. They can be worn dressy or casual, depending on what top, shoes, and accessories they are paired with. I am going to order them in Pink too. I wish they also came in some lighter, pastel colors like yellow, light blue, lavender, lighter pink, mint green, etc. (I’m not a fan of dark colors in summer). Lighter colors would also probably require a liner, but I think they’d be very popular, and I would definitely order them. I highly recommend them.

I thought it was just bc I have a flat butt and big belly, but I looked at the listing photos again and the model also has a wedgie lol. Even in the video, they make sure to cut away quickly when she turns around. Not a great design. Definitely don’t wear a thong with these shorts!

This review is for the PRETTYGARDEN Womens Shorts 2025 Summer Drawstring Ruffle Elastic High Waist Solid Color Casual Beach Shorts with Pockets.These are comfy loose flowy shorts with an elastic drawstring waist and pockets. The material is very light weight and should dry quickly if they get wet, they'll catch a breeze for sure. So you may want to wear a pair of boxer undies or slip shorts under them. They do have pockets, but even though I'm a pockets kinda gal, I tend not to use therm on this type of shorts as anything heavy will pull them lopsided. These will be nice for warmer weather.Regular price $ 24.99 per the listing I think is too high a pricepoint, they're on sale $ 19.99 limited time deal and then there's a 20% off coupon.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

I usually comfortably wear a size 20 in jeans, so I got these in XXL (US size 20-22). Now, I’ll be honest—I’ve ordered multiple different pairs of shorts recently that all claim to be for “US size 20-22” and none of them have fit me, so I didn’t really have high hopes for these. I was SO pleasantly surprised!I didn’t think I would like shorts that have a second pair of shorts built in, but it’s actually quite comfortable! I know a lot of women swear by wearing bicycle shorts under dresses, and I think I might understand that now as this is largely the same concept—very form fitting shorts under an extremely flowy piece of clothing. I haven’t worn (or walked) in these for an extended period of time yet, but while trying them on I did notice that I didn’t have to keep pulling the legs back down—like, at all. That’s virtually unheard of for me, even when I was at my skinniest I still had “healthy” thighs.Which, speaking of, is another amazing thing about these shorts—the size of the leg openings! No matter what size I’ve ever worn, even back when I was a size 12, the legs of shorts have given me issue. At one point I could wear a size M on my waist, but anything smaller than an XL would cut into my legs. The fact that my legs not only fit in these, but that they actually “flow” like they’re supposed to, is nothing short of a miracle.I’m not sure if I just have an extremely short torso, or if these are the highest waisted shorts in the world, but there’s only about 2” between the top of the waistband and the bottom of my bra. Once upon a time I would have despised that, but now I find it quite comfortable. I don’t *love* how it looks—the material and fit around that area makes them look like poorly fitting (too large) shapewear. The upside of that, however, is that with a shirt on, it’s basically built in shapewear. And if my shirt does happen to ride up, I won’t be flashing and skin to anyone.These are lightweight but well made, I think they’re going to be extremely comfortable to wear! I’m so confident in that fact, I *immediately* went and ordered a second pair after trying these on. My only (VERY minor) complaint is that I wish they were available in more colors. I originally ordered the white, and I went with the pink for the second pair. I’m not sure what the pink will look like in real life, but on my screen it appears to be a more dusty, Fall-esque color. I wish there was some like coral or aqua type colors—you know, like beachy, “summer” colors—available. I’ll be going to Disney in a few weeks and after the aforementioned multiple shorts fails, I thought I’d be stuck in athletic cotton shorts the entire time. I’m SO excited to have found a “dressier”, yet still just as comfortable and well fitting option! I would give these 10 stars if I could!
